Bag Filter Materials:

FELT: Is a nonwoven material that consists of short pieces of fiber that have been needle punched, which mechanically binds the fibers together. The felt is most often made with no reinforcing scrim, but can be made with it, which aids dimensional stability. Felt can also be surface treated with hot rolls and flame treated to improve particle release properties.
NONWOVEN: is a randomly laid fibrous web made from different fiber types but most frequently polypropylene or polyester. Typically Nonwoven media consists of multiple layers of web to meet a specific retention criteria.
MULTIFILAMENT MESH: Is a woven fabric made from yarn (thread) consisting of short pieces of fiber that are twisted and turned while being pulled which mechanically binds the fibers together. The yarn is then woven into a fabric. The yarn size and weave determine micron retention on the fabric.
MONOFILAMENT MESH: Is a woven fabric consisting of continuous pieces of yarn (or fiber). The yarn is then woven into a fabric. The yarn size and weave determine micron retention of the fabric.
